The FJM Reptile Ranch and Herps.com, was started 1993 by Frank Memmo. Over the years, I have worked very closely with my good friend, Jason Baylin. While maintaining separate collections, we share several projects, which are all represented on this site.

Over the years, I have adapted to the industry and it's demands. Early on, I wanted to breed everything and anything while maintaining a certain level of quality. As this industry has grown, I, like many others, get frustrated with people cutting their prices to ridiculously low numbers. With that said, I decided to cut back a collection that produced over a 1000 babies per year, to a collection that might produce 100 animals per year.

My current focus is to keep my collection fun and more of a hobby then a business. I still put a lot of time in on my animals, and focus on maintaining relationships with my Clients, both new and old. I guarantee everything I sell and stand behind my herps 100%. I do only one show per year and I do not advertise, other then this site. I like to keep things personal between myself, and the people that buy my herps.

Jason and I share the same beliefs, which is why we are able to work together. With the new version of this site (i think this is Version 6.0??), we will be show casing both of our collections, and selling babies from both collections. People inquiring about animals will be able to communicate with both of us; all purchases will come with the FJM Guarantee that your newly acquired animal will be healthy, have an established feeding pattern, and be correctly sexed.
